Two in five newly qualified teachers experience mental health problems, new study reveals (Independent)

The Independent covered a study carried out by the Charity Education Support Partnership which showed that high numbers of newly qualified teachers and those with less than five years of experience had experienced mental health issues with over half of them considering leaving the profession. As well as being a very depressing picture in itself the article also shows that this is impacting upon the care and education that children are receiving.
